Janessa Mabelin

Hey! My name is Janessa, but a lot of people know me as Jay Jay. I’m 23 years old, and currently a full-time lover of Jesus, working on the cozy East Coast, but that’s not where my story begins.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, in the small town of Sequim, WA. There, with my Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother-in-law, and two nieces, I had quite a life. I was in college, heavily involved with my church’s youth group, and a part of the worship team. But, in October of 2010, this West Coast girl was taken on the ride of her life, and ended up in Boston, MA, as a student in YWAM Boston’s Creative Arts in Worship Discipleship Training School. For six months, I left everything I knew and gave myself fully to seeking God. There, I met some of my best friends, and learned a lot about Him.

In March of 2012, I ventured back east to join staff with YWAM Boston. It has been an adventure that I wouldn't trade for anything. This blog is designed specifically to keep you up to speed with what Christ in doing in and trough me. Please, don’t be shy and visit often!
