Janet Beeby

Janet Beeby works at Bin 41, the best little wine shop in West Seattle, where she loves tasting and writing about far-flung wines and winemakers and showing customers just how fun and approachable wine can be.

She believes wine is more grocery than luxury, and that it doesn’t have to break the bank to be thoroughly enjoyable. Her goal is to build a career writing and teaching, and also exploring and developing new and engaging ways for people of all interest levels to learn about and enjoy wine.

An enthusiastic student, she takes classes at the Northwest Wine Academy, and recently passed both the certified exam with the Court of Master Sommeliers and also the Advanced Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET Level 3) exam with merit. Janet is currently enrolled in the French Wine Scholars program through the French Wine Society.
