Janet Gasparini

Janet Crichton until I married Gil Gasparini in 1978. Worked as a registered nurse until 1989 when I moved on to community development work. I was involved with the National Coalition Building Institute in Washington D.C for several years leading community building workshops. For the last 16 years I was the Executive Director of the Social Planning Council of Sudbury retiring in October 2014. I spent 7 years on City Council and a few years in school board politics. In retirement I am anxious to stay engaged in my community and the broader world!
