Janet Hipkiss
This is me – Janet. A northern lass (Manchester) who now lives in Worcestershire via Cornwall – long story – very boring!
After graduating from Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Combined Studies (Biology and Chemistry) I took clerical and secretarial positions – eventually becoming PA to the Earl and Countess of Mayo who ran a marble company.
In the mid-eighties I sort of fell into sales – initially telesales and then as a bona-fide salesperson selling babies disposable nappies! An off chance remark by a colleague opened my eyes to the world of pharmaceutical sales and I never looked back. I spent 25 (mainly) happy years covering a variety of roles to include sales and marketing, training, mentoring and trouble shooting. With the advent of PCs the administration monster reared its ugly head and I found I had an aptitude for it – not just emails and reports but CRM management and database builds. In 2009 I decided to set up a virtual assistant business and in January 2011 went full time – helping businesses with their admin issues, as well as call handling, building websites and databases – to name just a few!
February 2012 has seen a major re-brand of my business – going under my own name at last. I am now the owner of Janet Hipkiss Virtual Office Services. I provide administration, time management, finance management and other tasks to help your business run more smoothly and turn your business from 'GOOD' to 'EXCEPTIONAL'!
