Janet Langford

I am an educator who strongly believes that destiny walks through the doorways of our schools every day. We have the unique blessing of having the opportunity to be part of a child's destiny, at least briefly. At 62 I am a life long learner and eagerly look forward to challenging myself to continue to grow and learn. I have been married to the same wonderful man for 38 years, have three married daughters, three grandchildren, and another one on the way. I have been an educator for 26 years, as a special education teacher, 2nd grade teacher, literacy specialist, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Education continues to evolve and it is exciting to be part of our district and national conversation about the transformation of education in this country. Thanks for joining in.
