I'm a painter, and I also make public art sculptures. I write about art, gardening and food, and I like coffee a lot - I have a coffee company, Kayakcafe. I take my dog in my kayak and we go out on the lake a couple of times a day until the winter ice time. I mostly paint en plein air, but also am currently addicted to still life with fruit... also into waterscapes. I like my garden. Everything has to bloom in it, no lawn. Deer come to my ponds for a drink of water, as do little rabbits and other creatures. My goldfish must think it odd to see big animals reach into their abode for a drink in the morning. I love poodles, their athletic ability and smarts. Yep, I walk on the wild side with...poodles. And a beagledor. It's how I roll.
