Good leadership comes from a desire to help and willingness to lead by hard work, by example, and most importantly with a winning attitude.

Janice Luna Reynoso born in San Diego, California.

First born child to Mexican Immigrant parents and raised in National City and Southeast San Diego. Janice grew up learning to make a difference and helping others as she was inspired by her mother Yolanda, who continuously helped the community by translating and filling out official documents for those in need. Janice is a mother of three, a community leader throughout San Diego involved in projects such as community gardening and health advocacy. She has volunteered most of her life anywhere she lived whether it was at church in New Mexico, a military FRG Family Readiness Group in Georgia, her daughters' schools in Colorado, or back home again in San Diego where it began. "I believe complete health includes active healthy living, education, holistic choices, and also celebration of the arts and culture." She carries that vision in the works she takes on including her prior volunteer work with the U19 high school age YALLA soccer team, directing part-time at the YALLA Academy Scholar-Athletes Tutoring Program for refugee child survivors of war, or while teaching children and families how to garden and eat healthy. Janice is currently working on becoming a certified yoga instructor. Her passions include dancing, Capoeira, enjoying live music, nature, and painting with her daughters.
