Janie Octia

Janie Octia is a digital media professional with expertise in building and managing web and mobile products. A journalist by training and education, Janie’s knowledge and passion in how technology can redefine media products makes her a unique talent in the online journalism industry.

Over the last six years, Janie has led online initiatives for Yahoo in Southeast Asia and has extensive experience in content and project management as well as training delivery and content partner development.

Janie is currently Yahoo’s editorial operations manager for the India and Southeast Asia region and is a co- founder of the Singapore chapter of the Online News Association.
