Janine Khammash

My background includes hands on experience in broadcast media including television, radio and online platforms, and producing web based content. Most recently, I served as the communications intern for the Fort Worth Modern Museum of Art, an intern reporter for KERA 90.1 and a broadcast/marketing intern for the Fort Worth Opera. In these roles I developed air time programming and show content as well as web content while managing technical production, graphic media production, and implementing and tracking advertising strategies. In addition to this position, I also possess a deep understanding of television and radio production ranging from on-air delivery, news writing, video and audio production for web and directorial techniques. Throughout my education at the University of Texas at Arlington, the development of my writing and research skills have been a primary focus. I have built my understanding and skill set developing news stories, broadcast scripts and maintaining online platforms. This traditional media knowledge has proven to be an invaluable asset when creating video content for news stories and online social media programs focused on two way communication with the target audience. I am passionate about creating a line of communication with an audience.
