My passion for sewing began when I was a child and first saw a Crazy Quilt. I've never looked at old clothes the same, always seeing what could be salvaged, and the potential of great fabric to go on and be part of something new.

Being fortunate enough to be a teen-ager in the eighties, I was in the hey-day of vintage clothing and thrifting. I had so much fun. I was eventually hired at a Costume and Vintage store mending costumes and also tending the store.

Loving to wear vintage myself, I knew our inventory well, and had a knack for matching people up with garments that fit. I have sweet memories of selling fabulous vintage dresses to very happy Women.

Sewing is a humble 'profession', yet rewarding since I feel like I am making a difference in the comfort level of my clients. When our clothes fit well ? We know we look our best and we feel confident.
