Janine Kwoh

I am fascinated by the intersection of data and design, and how they can be combined to transform the way people think, feel, and act, particularly to drive positive social change.

Currently a Manager at New Profit Inc, a venture philanthropy organization, I support a portfolio of six college access & success nonprofit organizations across a variety of functions, including monitoring & evaluation, strategy, community-building, and compliance.

I am also the owner/artist behind Kwohtations, a handmade greeting card company, whose mission is "to spread joy and bring people closer together by making cards that recognize, embrace, and celebrate the diversity and absurdity of life."

When I'm not poring over impact metrics or printing cards, you can often find me jogging along the Charles River, hunting for hidden treasures in thrift shops, or furiously scribbling down half-baked ideas, stories, and observations. I've also made a pact with myself to find a way to travel somewhere new at least once each year.
