Janita Lowder-Haastrup

Janita is a Mentor in the College of IT since 2014 after teaching various Information Technology courses on the collegiate level. Prior to working in academia, Janita worked both as Instructional Technologist and IT Specialist for over 7 years. Janita has previous experience in working as a Training Specialist and on the Project Management team for a Fortune 500 company, conducting workshops on various workplace topics. Janita holds a PhD in Information Technology, a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a minor in Business. She is also certified in Project Management, earning the CompTIA Project+ certification. Janita believes that we should strive to be better than we were on yesterday.
