I am a self taught artist and illustrator who dabbles in film animation or so called drawnimation and speed-painting.
Growing up in Sweden, Albania and Turkey has given me a different point of view than my Swedish contemporaries. I have strong influences from Eastern Europe and the Middle East that I believe can be traced in my art.
Acrylics on canvas is my go-to medium when I paint, most of my illustrative work is a mix of digital and traditional media.
I have a bachelors degree in project management and production and I am currently studying for a degree in International Culture Project Management to further my practical skills.
Growing up abroad has made books and literature a prominent feature of an otherwise rather isolated existence. I took solace in the imaginary world of C.S Lewis, the Grimm brothers and Astrid Lindgren. The beautiful illustrations gave me such pleasure as a child and I suppose I never really outgrew them.
In the future I see myself illustrating children's books and taking other jobs that require imagination, a fantasy-like flare and lots of mood-effecting imagery.
