My name is Janyl Ventura. I was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. I have always been the adventure and thrill seeking kind of girl, admired by friends and family as being very independent and "street smart." Sports are what I live and breath, since I have been playing soccer and lacrosse for over a decade now, and competition always adds that needed fuel to my flame. My friends and family in an uplifting and lively environment are surrounding what makes me the happiest. I love that fact that I am so far away from home because there is no better way to test your embedded values and morals than having them being tested every day and accomplishing many adversities on your own with no parent to guide your way. I am a Criminal Justice and Spanish major here at the University of Georgia, and hope that in five years from now I will be working with the G.B.I (Georgia Bureau of investigation) and working my way up to a federal position. I am very sociable and there is nothing I do better than talking and laughing and always get myself in trouble for laughing and smiling too much at the worse times possible, but that can be a good problem to have at the end of the day. In my opinion, there is nothing in the world better than being stuck in an estrange situation surrounded by people you do not know, hence why I traveled fifteen hours to attend the University of Georgia. I love being involved in a handful of activities at once because the busier I am, the more I get accomplished. I am a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Football Game Day Host, a member of UGA Relay for Life, and Georgia Recruitment Team
