Ja'Quasia Griffin

I am a raising Senior at the illustrious North Carolina Central University. I am a Pharmaceutical Science major with a minor in chemistry. I am from Elizabeth City, North Carolina. #252 I am a fan of DIY, fashion, and entrepreneurship. I’m also interested in shopping and sports. I live by the quote "Just Do It". I don't look at my life, school, or any challenge as hard or easy because sometimes you can psych yourself out and start to have unusual feelings to try new things. I Just do what I have to do and don't think twice about it.

I struggled with trying to figure out what I really wanted to do with my life. At first I wanted to be a fashion designer, but I always had an interest for white lab coats and goggles. My dad suggested that I become a Pharmacist and then I would be able to afford all the fashion in the world. From then on I was interested in cute little private owned Pharmacies in small towns. Eventually, I knew that I wanted to be a Pharmacist and own my on Pharmacy.

I am definitely Pro-black because of all the tragedies happening around the world. If there is one thing I could leave behind for my little sister and brother it would be a successfully owned family business that shows that we can make it through anything.

If there is one thing I could change about myself it would be to eat healthier. With the health scare from my dad and the lost of my grandma I have noticed that if I don't change my way of living I could scare myself let alone my family. I try to eat baked foods, eat a lot of fruits and veggies and stay away from soda.

I am still very young and have a lot more learning to do, but I'm not scared to get out there and experience the joys and hardships I will come across. Just know by Just doing it, I already Just did it!
