Currently a student at North Carolina Central University, Jaquetta is studying to become a successful writer, journalist, mediator and inspirational speaker. Her love for writing was developed back in elementary school and she has been on a constant journey to refine her talent and share her stories.

Growing up with a family history of anger disorders, Jaquetta's childhood was filled with negativity, depression, anxiety and other mental/ emotional challenges. At the tender age of sixteen , she decided that she no longer wished to live a life filled with anger and began her journey of enlightenment using the written word to share heart-felt stories filled with inspirational lessons and optimistic outcomes.
