Jarah Crawford

Hi!

i'm Jarah, and I am a Public Relations student working towards completing an advanced diploma at Durham College. Originally from Pickering, Ont., I commute around the corner to Oshawa each day for school.

After trying Journalism at Durham, I found my love of PR just one year later and can't wait to continue my passion for Media Relations, Communications, Social Media, Writing, Design and layout, and fundraising.

While working at the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region for my mandatory not-for-profit placement, in Oshawa, Ont., I also serve, bartend and am a part of the marketing team at Lonestar Texas Grill. I love communicating with customers on a daily basis, as well as the way my part-time job corresponds with my busy school schedule.

Now, with school quickly wrapping up, I am moving on to bigger and better things, and have landed my corporate placement with Veridian Corporation, located in Ajax, Ont. I will be working in the Public Affairs office for three summer months.

Besides PR, my passions include dance, makeup, music and food.
