I love to surf river waves and I love to promote new technologies. In both pursuits people tend to spend a lot of time pushing hard against the currents before getting to ride the perfect wave.

I've been very lucky with both. I live about 20 minutes from a National Park that gives me year-round access to great river waves. And professionally, as a marketer, I've had the good fortune to get in front of a lot of major technology waves including: the IT boom in China, the birth of Smartphones & App stores, the launch of true Mobile Broadband, and most recently Software Development for the Internet of Things.

On both the river and at work, I can't wait to see whatever is coming up around the next bend!
