JARED CHOATE

I ran across America. 3,000 miles, 13 states, 2 legs, a too-tight devil costume, and so much less. Through blizzards and tropical storms. Through freezing cold and desert heat. Through middles of nowheres and unsavory avenues. Through heatstroke and food poisoning and paralyzing shin splints and bears and hurricanes and the goodwill of strangers and forlorn circumstance and mountain lions and getting married and the Murder Capital of America and hangovers and being kidnapped and love and death and friendship and Life and being humbled by the lot of it.And thus I wrote The Now Testament. My feared first novel.
