Round Rock, Texas
I was born and raised in Utah. I grew up in Bountiful, a suburb of Salt Lake City. I was brought up in the L.D.S. faith (Mormon) and grew to love sports, the outdoors, music, and using my creative mind.
I served a two year mission in the McAllen, Texas area for the L.D.S. church at age 19. There, I became fluent in the Spanish language and learned to love and serve the Lord and my fellowman.
When I returned home from my mission at age 21, my cousin (Mark Erskine) got me a job selling satellite subscriptions door-to-door during the summer months. For the next 9 years, I continued this profession and have sold satellite and security systems all over the country; including: Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, Missouri, Virgina, Florida, Illinois, Texas, and Kansas.
On October 13, 2007, I married my eternal companion, Emily Jo Zeeman Dyer. We have lived all over the country together, and enjoy each others companionship, along with our little dog, Bella.
In 2010, I earned my Assoicates of Science degree at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later that year, we moved to the Austin, Texas area and settled near my father and siblings.
In fall 2011, I enrolled at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and I am currently majoring in mass communication: advertising, with a minor in business management.
I recently completed my life long goal of running a marathon, by finishing the Austin Marathon on February 17, 2013.
I enjoy spending time with my loving wife and family and creating visual art and poetry.
I also enjoy playing and watching sports and anything to do with the outdoors.
I'm currently training for an Ironman 70.3 triathlon in October, and look forward to more adventures that life has to offer.
