Throughout most of my adult life my main gig has buying, restoring, and renting out small vintage properties in various places on the mainland--and more recently in Hawai'i.

4plex. 6plex. 8plex. etc

I've also restored quite a few vintage single family houses in Houston (mainly)... Salt Lake City... and now in Hawai'i.

I used to build custom cabinets and do trim carpentry... but not so much anymore.

I've also built about 12 new houses over the years… in Houston and Atlanta.

I also buy, restore, and sell vintage bicycles and high end carbon road bikes… mostly for fun.

I've also been known to do a little film & TV set work... mainly Art Department / Construction stuff (set dresser, etc).

As you can imagine, all of the above keeps me pretty busy. But I definitely get out and about and travel the world quite a bit as well... usually 3 or 4 months out of every year.

I cycle a lot in my free time--mainly for fitness--mainly road bikes. But I'll do the occasional Critical Mass ride... and some mountain biking in Utah, Colorado, and Hawaii.

I'm a hiker. I love the mountains and spend as much time wandering through them as I possibly can--no matter where I am in the world.

And, now... Hawaii!... which is a whole new adventure. (So many cliffs and bridges to jump from… so little time!)

It's definitely nice to roll right out of bed, walk through your own back yard, and jump right into ocean!

Not to mention the waves lulling you to sleep every night... and those amazing green papaya salads @ the farmers market in town ever week.
