Jared Swanson

Jared Swanson studied acting at Boston University's College of Fine Art Theatre Division. He has performed in regional Theatres such as The Huntington Theatre Company, Gloucester Stage and Olney Center. In Los Angeles, Jared co-wrote and starred in the web series Untitled Sketch Group on Funny or Die and has appeared in multiple commercials including a National Verizon Wireless/X-Factor App spot featuring Simon Cowell. He is also the lead singer of the band Abbot Kinney. Abbot Kinney has been featured in a Bose Headphones commercial shot at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and has music in the film Seven Below starring Val Kilmer and Ving Rhames. Currently Jared is composing music for theatre and film, auditioning and recording a follow up to the Abbot Kinney self-titled LP currently available on iTunes.
