Who am I? I am a Mom. I am a wife. I am a sister. I've been married close to twenty years now. I was raised an only child. Later I learned Dad had another family before Mom and I. He was blessed with 2 boys and a girl with that marriage. Two of the three siblings I did not meet until after his passing. One of them is no longer with us.

I was born and practically raised in Ohio. I was born in VanWert, OH; from there my family moved to Virginia when I was young. We then moved to Massachusettes where Dad started work with Digitial Equipment Corporation. From there we moved back to Ohio a few years before starting Kindergarten. Finally, I practically grew up from first grade until the day I graduated from high school in 1991 near Garrettsville, OH.

I am a survivor. Those who have been sexually abused can understand what that truly means. For me I am working hard to lay to rest my past and leave it where it belongs. It is a reclaiming of my life that I have not lived fully because of what I endured.

I have taught Tai Chi and Qigong for a short spell. I love it. I learned quickly small business is not always easy to learn. My own errors in small business as well as my own back pain issues stopped me from continuing. I practice at home what I know.

My latest interest has been Zentangle. I started taking meditative art classes at the college. I have since been practicing this skill of tangling patterns. I am now learning how to do so on a 3.5" x 3.5" square piece of card stock called a tile. I hope to sell my work this year at a local art show.

I was in the Marine Corps from the fall of 1991 to early 1992. I had gone in to be in their Marine Corps Band. I was released on a medical discharge stating I had too many allergies.

I studdied music performance at Casper College. While at college I also performed for the Casper Municipal Band. It was a paid job and an honor. These people sight read the music for the most part. They practice the piece once or twice before the actual concert and then that is it.

Since I have been married I have staid at home to care for the kids. I have worked hard to keep our family together and working on the same page. Being a mom of 4 boys all around the same age is not an easy task. This is especially true if they are very intelligent and needing activities to keep them out of trouble.
