I started in sales as a direct marketing representative in 2006. Management has always been my goal with sales jobs. I was trained to be a manager of a small sales office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Afterwards, I was given the task of managing a recent expansion of our company to Central New Jersey. From there I was asked to oversee an expansion to Philadelphia and one in Westchester, NY.
Once I moved to New York, I met an established entrepreneur and CEO of Froogle Institute for Social Media. They are an institution that teaches businesses how to incorporate a social program. He ended up showing me most of what I know about Social Media Marketing.
I began my switch from Direct Sales into Social Media with a Radio Station, 103.9 WFAS in Scarsdale, NY. We strong-armed the stations recent adaptation to social media. I also worked with 'The Jay Michaels Morning Show' regularly, helping Jay to utilize the new social media technology. With some experience under my belt, I started working on getting my own Social Media clients. I have been gaining new clients ever sense.
Recently I moved back to my home town of Aurora, Colorado. I continue to manage Social Media for seven companies in New York. I am very excited to be home and start gaining local clients. Particularly Medicinal Marijuana Dispensaries. I believe this industry can utilize Social Media more effectively than the Car Industry for me. Marijuana clinics are being built everywhere. I believe the strongest, longest lasting clinics will be the most social online.
