Hey there, I’m Juanjo. I am a Rafael del Pino Scholar with a Master of Arts in International Relations at Johns Hopkins SAIS, concentrating in Conflict Management. Air War College from the Spanish Air Force.

I have in-depth knowledge of Defense, Technology and Current Conflicts, particularly in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. I am skilled in qualitative and quantitative research; policy analysis; program proposal, management, implementation, and evaluation; political advocacy; and strategic communications. I am a results-driven, avid communicator, and detail-oriented professional. All these skills are obtained from my academic experience and my experience of more than 12 years as an F-18 Pilot for the Air Force. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

Throughout my professional career, I have briefed and engaged with key opinion leaders and policymakers on current defense issues, based on my operational experience with several tours and positions abroad. Finally, I also work as a teacher for the IE Univesity and the University of Navarra (UNAV) on current conflict analysis.
