Causes of acne in Teens and ways to deal with it
Acne is a very common condition in teens. It causes whiteheads, blackheads, pimples in most cases. But, in more severe cases, it may lead to formation of large, solid, painful lumps under the skin, which may be full of pus (nodules and cystic lesions). It occurs when oil and dead skin clog the hair follicles. The pores in the skin act as the opening to a follicle. The oil glands found in the hair follicles, also known as sebaceous glands, release sebum(oil). This oil moves upward through the hair, out of pore and onto the skin, causing acne.
