I am originally from Mexico City; I like to think of myself as a Mexi-can. Been living in the United States since age 13, and I like many different things! I studied music at Berklee and U. of St. Thomas, film at the New York Film Academy and sound engineering at MicroFusa in Barcelona. I have also made podcasts, films, music records and beer. My practical work includes management at a film producing company called Altopro. We make the stuff your chips are packaged in, so we like to feel at least partially responsible for the yum-yums.

As Dave Chappelle once said, “every comedianwishes they were a musician, and every musician thinks they’re funny.” I amcertainly no exception. Obviously humor is a matter of taste, andwhile I am not exactly close to becoming the next Louis CK, I am at the veryleast a good asset to have at a party. In my experience people are intrigued tofind there is a musician amongst them and often ask us to perform on the spot.Beyond making new friends, this ability has served me well in many karaokecompetitions. Some may say that having a degree in music would over qualify mefor karaoke contests, but those people just don’t fully understand the value ofpreparation.
