Raised and educated in the South Bay area of Southern California for the last 20 years, I moved to Georgia two years ago to attend the Learning, Design, and Technology program at UGA. So far, the experiences have been amazing.

I come from a background in child and adolescent development and elementary education, and have a strong passion towards education. I believe the opportunities I've been given should be returned to society, and with that said, my ultimate goal is to hopefully implement ways to provide equal educational opportunities for all learners!

In order to fulfill my ultimate goal, my current research interests include STEM education, developing problem solving skills for K-5 through inquiry and the design process, and real-world problem solving. I am also course instructor for EDIT 2000: Learning and Teaching with Technology, and my efforts lie in collaborating with others to provide impact to learners in the society.

Aside from that, I am a forever Dodgers fan! ;D
