Jasmine S. Young

Chicago

I’m a native New Yorker loving my indefinite hiatus in Chicago. I love writing, learning about almost anything and going on adventures. When I moved to the Chicago area in August 2009, I never imagined I would be here. But I am and will create the best experience I could possibly dream of.

I am a creative strategist. With a B.A. in International Relations, I love all things global and that's where I hope to take my writing.

Currently, I am a freelance reporter for The Sun-Times Media, and am the first faith beat reporter for the Aurora Beacon. In the past I have interned for Christianity Today, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and was a freelance reporter for The Sun-Times Media, and the Editor in Chief of The Wheaton Record.

More high profile interviews have included TV host Ty Pennington, author and journalist Melanie Kirkpatrick, author Dav Pilkey, and more.
