Jasmine Haynes
Jasmine Haynes is from Conroe, Texas, just north of Houston. She received her bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas-Austin in 2010 with completion of the Sports Journalism Program. At the student-run campus television station, Texas Student Television, Jasmine anchored, produced, and reported for College Pressbox, the 30-minute live-to-tape sports show similar to ESPN’s Sports Center. She interned at KTBC Fox-7 Austin with the sports department. She has covered almost everything from swimming to football.
She is currently getting her master's in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University. On the weekends, Jasmine travels to Binghamton, New York to intern with the sports department at WBNG-TV 12. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Jasmine aspires to be a sports reporter.
