Jasmine C. Tate

In effort to learn and serve the world around me, I am actively involved in the communities in which I grew up and reside and causes that are of importance to me.

I am a native of Mt. Hermon, LA currently residing in Hattiesburg, MS. I am a recent graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Master of Science in Public Relations.

I am currently seeking community relations opportunities in the sports, entertainment and non-profit sectors of the profession. Dreams of becoming a journalist led me to research and discovery of public relations. Through my involvement in the Public Relations Student Society of America as the founder of the Southeastern Chapter and immediate past president at USM, I have learned much about the profession in addition to gaining valuable experiences, relationships and skills. I love the versatility, growth of the industry and endless opportunities associated with public relations and am excited to enter the profession as a practitioner.
