Jasmine Vesque

I am a natural-born communicator who enjoys helping people share their most important stories and ideas. I am passionate about digital communications, social media, and web design.

I currently work as the Digital and Design Officer for a large Canadian NGO, the Micronutrient Initiative. Working on the Communications and External Relations teams, I help support our Marketing and Communications efforts through a variety of web and graphic design work including building and maintaining WordPress websites.

I also volunteer as the VP of Communications and Webmaster for a non-profit organization, The Forget for a Moment Foundation. I manage the websites I've built, our social media platforms, and help spread the word about our project.

I love teaching, and I am a speaker at and co-organizer of the Ottawa WordPress Meetup Group and WordCamp Ottawa. Giving back to the WordPress community is important to me and helps me hone my skills. I also contribute as both an instructor and a mentor with Ladies Learning Code.
