Hi, I'm Jasmyn 👋🏼
I’m a third-year Media Production student at Ryerson University.
I'm currently learning video editing with Premiere Pro, single camera filming techniques, and other skills such as social media marketing and creative collaboration.
After interning as a junior assistant editor at Rooster Post Production, I learned all the ins and outs of the industry. I can source music and footage, prepare artwork on Adobe Photoshop, and compress videos for postings on social media. Overall, I'm able to help senior editors, all while quickly adapting to the work-from-home environment and learning more about the post-production world.
My ultimate goal is to become a creative video editor for commercials and short films at a post-production house in Toronto, post graduation.
With a passion for baking cookies, cheering for the Raptors, and raising funds for various charities - I'm a dynamic storyteller and content creator, with the ability to organize and lead a team.
