I am a Family Physician and tech junky who realized my dream - that my love of both technology and medicine could be combined into a career.

When I was in full time practice, I took great pride in my ability to help people, one at a time. After 5 years, I realized that in order to make a bigger splash i would have to do more than work in my office seeing patients day in and day out.

I have since started 2 companies, been on the medical advisory boards of 4 others, and been involved in numerous others.

My most recent venture, Medivo (www.medivo.com) empowers people to take control of their health, and provides physicians with tools to manage their entire population of patients. I still can't get away from practicing medicine.

I see patients a few days a week and in the world of business for the rest. I have found that doing both keeps me energized and excited about both.
