Hello, I'm Jason. I live in Fort Mill, SC with my wife, Veronica, and my two daughters, Peyton and Calloway. Our third daughter is due to arrive mid-March 2013!

I am an educational leader whose main focus is on ensuring that all students under my supervision achieve their maximum potential. In order for schools to be effective, it has to be a place students want to come. As a principal, my goal is to build a school space that meets the needs and the wants of all students.

As a teacher, I have had the privilege of educating all levels of high school students, from high-achieving Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate students to individuals who struggled with reading and basic math skills. Throughout my career, I have found success with students from all backgrounds and ability levels.

As an administrator, I have worked to transform Myers Park High School. I have directed a number of initiatives to reach at-risk students, including forming the Mentoring Matters program, the Community Connections initiative, and the MPHS Credit Recovery program. I also formed a uniform Scholastic Activities program at Myers Park, which helped the school win the NCASA Scholastic Cup two years in a row.
