Jason Narcoonis

Natick, Massachusetts, United States

I am an MBA student and Research Assistant at Babson College in Wellesley, MA trying to transition careers into live event management. I'm currently working for Live Nation at the House of Blues - Boston. My primary interest for as long as I can remember has been concerts. I'm hoping to make the most of my time in the Boston area and meet the right people to get into this industry.

I grew up just outside of Scranton, PA and graduated from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. At Wilkes, I majored in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration and minored in Marketing and Women's Studies. Most of my time outside of classes was spent working as an Executive Board member of the campus's Programming Board, who was responsible for nearly all of the campus entertainment. I held a few different positions over the four years, including one as the group's President. I also worked as an intern at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, home to the Pittsburgh Penguins' farm team.

I ran the Assets Protection department at Target's Ithaca, NY store for two years after college. This job included loss prevention, store management, as well as some law enforcement partnership and community outreach event planning.

Then, I left Target to get an Associate's Degree in Music Recording Technology. Meanwhile, I was the assistant manager of a cell phone retailer. Upon graduation, I was promoted to Store Manager of a different location. I worked for this company until 2013 when I left to attend Babson.

In addition to music, I enjoy sports, comic books, cooking, and craft beer.
