Hi, I’m Jason.

The sum of our experiences; past, present and future plays a large part in defining who we are. Our past and present experiences give us wisdom; the anticipation of future experiences drives us towards what is possible. An important determinant of who we are is the use we have made of our time and experiences.

I have used my time to build capability from a diverse range of businesses, industries and economic conditions, having started my own businesses from scratch, turned other people’s businesses around and lead businesses forward.

I get excited about learning, discovery, curiosity, solving difficult problems and working out what could be possible. This passion has forged a career that captures the discipline and structure of the corporate world, the acuity of consulting and the creativity and tenacity of the startup ecosystem.

Introducing formal psychology studies not only provided the opportunity to learn a challenging new area, but provided a stronger understanding of the mechanics of emotional intelligence, mindfulness and empathy in providing leadership.

I am fortunate to have curated a unique set of skills, experience, knowledge and perspectives from my successes, failures and dreams, as a worker, a manager and a leader; even from my very early part-time jobs as a lubrication mechanic for Shell and a Sales assistant for Myer through to commercial/leadership roles with multinationals and private companies and to starting my own businesses.
