Jason Ellis

Jason Thomas Ellis is a seasoned executive chairman with more than 30 years of experience in steel, manufacturing, and industrial operations. He has led organisations across Australia, India, China, and Southeast Asia, helping businesses grow and succeed in competitive global markets. His experience includes managing operations ranging from USD25 million to more than AUD3.5 billion in revenue.

During his career, Jason has held senior roles with leading companies such as BlueScope Steel, Tata BlueScope Steel, Commercial Metals Company, and BHP Lysaght. In these roles, he managed large operations, complex supply chains, and international teams.

Today, he serves as Executive Chairman of iTrade Steel Pty Ltd and Chairman of Empower Steel Australia Pty Ltd, where he focuses on business strategy and growth. As a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, he brings strong financial knowledge and global industry expertise to his work.
