NYC bred, PGH resident, I, Jason "The Real" McKoy, have used my environment and life expieriences to inform my artistry. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a B.A&S , I spent a year studying illustration and design in Japan, funding my excursion by teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) in two high schools in Kyoto.

Upon returning to The States, I spent time building my portfolio, working with clients from ACE Hotel NYC to the borough of Wilkinsburg in Pennsylvania. I'm deeply involved in efforts to better my community showcasing my artwork in galleries, on the streets, art installations, and participating in place-making art projects around town.

When not running McKoy Creative, a collective of innovators that use art, design, and interactive media to develop new products and services for clients and boost marketing, I'm usually playing video games, reading graphic novels, and eating dairy-free ice cream.
