When navigated correctly, the product realization process can significantly reduce development costs and shorten life cycle adoption periods for new products/technologies. A company might develop the most amazing products, but if they can't message to the customer why they are important, the product faces a long and costly adoption path. Many companies lack a structure that brings continuity regarding customer needs and desires through the entire product development cycle. This includes product conception, development, testing, and go-to-market strategies. By working with sales teams, engineering teams, and marketing teams, I am able bring these groups together and steer them toward the the best product solution for our customers.
