Jason is also recognized for his commitment to philanthropy. He uses his platform and resources to support various charitable causes.

For over 30 years, he has worked at the intersection of media, luxury, and celebrity culture.

Before launching DuJour Media, he founded Niche Media in 1992, producing publications that catered to the interests of various cities and neighborhoods. His magazines reached readers in many locations, including Aspen Peak, Boston Common, Capitol File, Hamptons, Ocean Drive, Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential, Michigan Avenue, Philadelphia Style, and Vegas. These publications helped define luxury regional publishing and strengthened his role in the industry.

Through these city-focused magazines, Binn was able to connect with local audiences, allowing each publication to reflect the unique character of its location, including Miami, the Hamptons, and New York City. Niche Media also developed a custom publishing division that produced content for Art Basel Miami Beach, Wynn Las Vegas, and the Short Hills Mall for the Taubman real estate organization.

Expanding Niche Media into a national platform and selling the company were significant steps in his professional journey. In 2006, Jason sold Niche Media to Greenspun Media Group while continuing to serve as CEO. In 2007, Greenspun Media Group acquired Ocean Drive Media Group, which he co-owned and founded. He remained involved in management and operations until resigning in 2010.

In 2012, Binn launched DuJour Media, which reaches high-net-worth audiences through digital, print, and live events. DuJour's growth reflects his dedication to understanding his audience and delivering stories that align with culture and trends. His collaborations with brands and notable figures have helped sustain DuJour’s growth and relevance.
