$50 per hour.
$75 per hour if you watch.
$100 per hour if you help.

Let the designer be the design expert.
Your job is to be the business expert.
Ask him how his design solutions meet your business goals.
If you trust your desiger, and he can explain how his
recommendations map to those goals, you’re fine.
If you neither trust him, nor can he defend his
choices it’s time to get a new desiger.
