Jason Chan

My name is Jason Chan, an aspiring entrepreneur born and raised in the sunny island of Singapore.

I am 26, enjoys reading Murakami, meeting new people, going on new adventures and love playing the guitar.

I graduated from Singapore Institute of Technology with a degree in engineering and is currently working at Boxgreen, a Singaporean-based startup. We are a healthy snack subscription startup hoping to change the way people snack around the world. With every snack pack sold, a part of the proceeds will go to “Willing Hearts”, a soup kitchen which provides free meals to the needy and the elderly.

I am also an ambassador for Startup Grind Singapore, a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. We hold a monthly fireside chat with various entrepreneurs in Singapore.

My language proficiency includes English, Mandarin, and some half-baked Hokkien.

I also play guitar in a duo called “Ram N’ Raisin” with my good friend, Ramendra. We have just gotten a busking licence from the National Arts Council and are really excited to take our music to the streets!
