I've been in pastoral ministry since 1992, fresh out of college. A two year stint in youth ministry revealed a deeper calling to church planting, especially with emerging generations. I've spent the intervening years pursuing that calling.
The most recent expression of that calling is as Associate Superintendent for the East Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. My primary role is as Director of Church Planting and managing the Congregational Vitality ministries. I also work closely with the national team of DCPs from the other ECC Conferences, as well as the ECC's Dept. of Church Growth & Evangelism.
Just prior to this latest move, I was part of the founding team of pastors at Artisan Church. It's been a privilege to pastor with this vibrant and growing group of "artisans," faithfully pursuing the mission in the City SE of Rochester, NY to "encounter God, embrace people, & engage culture in the way of Jesus." It's an uniquely high-tech, artsy, socially conscious faith community, striving to make a lasting difference in the lives of their friends, neighborhoods, and world.
