Jason Deans

Jason Deans is an experienced political and new media consultant. Jason served as Campaign Manager for United States Representative Patrick McHenry’s (R-NC) primary and general election victories in 2004. Deans went on to serve as Congressman McHenry’s Chief of Staff, overseeing the operations of his Washington, DC Office and three offices in North Carolina. Jason worked with the Congressman to identify and advance critical legislative priorities, especially in the areas of banking and financial services, as Congressman McHenry is the sole North Carolina Republican on the House Financial Services Committee.

In addition to his service with Congressman McHenry, Deans has been involved in grassroots politics for over fifteen years. His activities included serving on his county and district Republican Executive Committees as well as the State Republican Executive and Central Committees. Deans was elected to two terms as State Chairman of the North Carolina Federation of College Republicans and in 1996 he was North Carolina’s youngest delegate to the Republican National Convention.

Jason’s involvement in numerous state council and legislative campaigns lead him to found Integrated Communication Strategies, Inc. (ICS) in 2008. ICS provides full-service general campaign consulting including new media strategies, fundraising and traditional media production and placement. ICS also has a wide portfolio of business clientele that utilizes the firm’s public relations, new media, brand development and strategic planning services.

Jason is a native of Nash County, NC and a graduate of Campbell University. He currently resides in downtown Raleigh.
