Jason E. Fort
police officer, author in South Carolina
My name is Jason Fort, and I have been everything from an elementary PE teacher, a personal trainer, a Wellness Director, a bouncer, to a police officer. I currently serve as a police officer for a large health system in the southeastern United States, but have begun pursuing a dream of becoming a best selling author. I am a Christian, a family man, a southerner, a right wing conservative, and I do not and will not apologize for speaking my mind or being politically incorrect. I am one of the most loyal friends you could have, and I am a pushover for no one. But I do believe in treating everyone with respect, proper manners, and trying to see the best in anyone before making assumptions.
Some little known facts about me are that I was a baritone and tenor in my college choir, the Erskine College Choraleers, for four years - and I was also a college cheerleader for two of those years...that's right, I learned how to pick up girls. Little did I know how much I would learn to love weight training, simply because I had to get stronger just to get the young ladies off the ground. I enjoy life with my family and friends, and I spend time reading, writing, weight lifting, watching tv and movies, and playing video games with my 13 year old son. I have always had an artistic side, and I have discovered through the years that writing is the best way to let that side of me show. I completed my first novel in August of 2014, and in November of 2014 I decided to self publish. Since then I have completed my first trilogy, and these Christian thrillers have become my passion. The first trilogy is The Knox Mission, and it has set me off on my own personal mission. If you want to enter a fictional world that will make you think about your values, political climate, and just what is true out there, perhaps check my books out at amazon.com/author/jasonfort.
