Jason Esler

Jason Esler is a junior currently pursuing an accounting major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is set to graduate in Spring 2018 and will pursue a Masters in Accounting from the same University afterward.

Jason is a first generation college student and Veteran who joined the United States Marine Corps to serve his country. After honorably serving his country, he is pursuing a college degree in business. Jason is experienced in office management with the ability to deliver leadership, quality control, and ingenuity to any project. As an administration clerk in Iraq, he constructed several innovative systems and reports that enhanced his teams ability to efficiently provide vital information for higher headquarters. Jason was recognized twice, in a four year period, during Commanding Generals Inspections for his ability to execute essential Military programs meticulously. As an Office Manager for the 8th Marine Corps District, Headquarters, Operations Department he was responsible for receiving, reviewing, and submitting over 1000 waivers per month from eight different offices located in five different States. Jason's ability to create modern methods of obtaining, assessing and submitting data led to a reduced processing period for waivers from 30 days to just one week.
