Over the past several years, Chicago-based Jason Finney has gained experience in the finance sector, a career that began after he attended the University of Illinois. Pursuing a master of business administration in finance, Jason Finney graduated in 2018.
While working toward his MBA, he participated in a summer program in Normandy that encompassed classes in cross-cultural management, European agribusiness, and international negotiation. He also spent a year as a graduate finance tutor, during which he mentored students taking portfolio theory and capital structure classes, among others.
After graduating, Mr. Finney joined RJ O'Brien and Associates in Chicago, where he serves as a credit analyst. Outside of finance, he has experience with Axalta Coating Systems, which he first joined in 2014 as a technical representative. After a year in the position, he was promoted to plant launch coordinator.
During his tenure, Jason Finney managed an equipment manufacturer account with pre-launch activities valued at $30 million. Alongside coordinating activities, he was responsible for product performance and data analysis.
