Jason Haas is a consultant with nonprofit organizations and socially responsive businesses. He specializes in community partnerships, member and donor engagement, and branding.

Jason has built a career connecting diverse communities and leaders to the causes and events that shape the 21st century. At age 13, he began speaking out against bias and violence against LGBT people as a plaintiff in a lawsuit settled by GLAD and Boston Public Schools. Since then, he has been featured on National Public Radio, NBC’s The Today Show, Free Speech TV, and quoted in numerous magazines and articles. The Advocate named Jason among its "Young Gay Heros" for his early activism.

As an alumnus of both Joe Biden and Barack Obama's Presidential campaigns, Jason organized hundreds of volunteers and stakeholders and implemented national field strategy in key swing states. At Mozilla, he spearheaded the flagship leadership summit–MozCamp–to prepare and empower over 400 of the company’s top contributors. Jason also offers pro-bono marketing consulting to artists and fledgling human rights projects.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys adventure sports, "good travel,” and giving back. He has toured Northern Africa, Western Europe, Oceania, North America, and Brazil, while volunteering with local advocacy organizations. Jason regularly organizes fundraising events and rode from San Francisco to Los Angeles, CA along 1,500 other cyclists in the AIDS/LifeCycle, the world's largest annual fundraiser with over $12M raised to end HIV/AIDS.
