Jason Halek

Jason Halek started his first business at the age of twelve; the Minneapolis, MN native is a natural born entrepreneur. That first business was a soda machine in his father’s office, but he quickly expanded his holdings.

At the age of 16, he was working in a local Jeep dealership as a mechanic in the maintenance department. This led Jason Halek, at the age of 21, to become the youngest person ever to lease and operate a Sinclair station. Jason Halek continued to nurture his entrepreneurial drive and found his true calling in 1999: the oil and gas industry. He moved to Texas near the end of 1998 and never looked back; he established his very own oil company and began drilling oil wells. His oil ventures have also included wells in Montana and North Dakota. Jason Halek believes that continued success springs from a keen motivation and a deep passion.

Successful entrepreneurs also surround themselves with experts who have the knowledge needed in the oil and gas industry. Jason Halek has followed these guidelines and remained focused after 10 years of refining his company’s production and business procedures. Furthermore, Jason Halek is an admitted workaholic, which doesn’t hurt when it comes to running a business. He has never been one to just sit behind his desk and let others do the work that he could be doing.

Additionally, Jason Halek commits his time and money to helping disadvantaged children and others in need through his philanthropic activities. He established Halek Charities, an IRS-registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, which he uses to support more than 30 organizations, including the Wounded Warriors Project, Cook Children's Hospital, and a number of local police departments and libraries in North Texas.
